THE BEHAVIORAL EDUCATION MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS USED CHARCOAL PENCIL TO SKETCH A VERY DETAILED ZOMBIE FISH IN BLACK AND WHITE- COMBINING PARTS FROM REAL SEA MONSTERS. STUDENTS THEN WORKED ON SHADING USING CHARCOAL PENCILS. 
THE MOVE STUDENTS USED VISUAL MODELING BOARDS TO MAKE CHOICES OF FISH BODY PARTS USING VARIOUS COMMUNICATION DEVICES. ACTIVE COMMUNICATION IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE ADAPTIVE ARTS PROGRAM FOR MOVE STUDENTS. TOGETHER WITH AN INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT, STUDENTS WORK HAND-OVER-HAND TO CREATE A NEW ZOMBIE FISH BASED UPON THE STUDENTS CHOICES. STUDENTS ADDED OIL PASTELS AND CHALK TO THE ARTWORK.
